Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mentor Alishani, Rector of Prizren University “Ukshin Hoti”, met with representatives from “Kosovo United States Alumni” (KUSA) on Wednesday. KUSA is supported by the American Embassy in Prishtinë. They presented “The University Support Grants Program 2023/2024” to the University’s management. On this occasion, Rector Alishani expressed his gratitude for this collaboration and emphasized the importance of this initiative in developing higher education in Kosovo.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the support provided by this program for strengthening research institutions and community engagement within the alumni network. Additionally, various ways in which they can contribute to Kosovo’s improvement and the promotion of academic and professional opportunities for its youth were discussed.

The selection process for small grants under the University Support Program is competitive and administered by “Kosovo United States Alumni” (KUSA). The opening of the application period is forthcoming, so higher education institutions in Kosovo should prepare for this unique opportunity.
